Thursday 6-16-22: Gay’s new Blackstone 36 inch Griddle Cooking Station arrives on our doorstep. This Blackstone 36 inch Griddle Cooking Station is equipped with four burners and runs on Hank Hill’s true love, propane. Only tools required to assembly are a Phillips screwdriver and crescent wrench. It was easy to assembly but be sure to have a friend to help with it since it takes two to lift the griddle in place. Strip Steaks tonightThe Blackstone is about to cook for the first time. We are beyond excited. The seasoning process went well because the griddle top is looking black today. Jalapeño poppers, Corn on the cob and H-E-B Olive Oil and Sea Salt Baby Potatoes will start the grilling session. Do you love Jalapeño poppers?I tried to use the H-E-B Olive Oil and Sea Salt Baby Potatoes and do a smashed version to see how they would turn out. Result was a tasty easy side dish. Bacon sizzle is the best. Four steaks with three different orders. Go!!!You are my NY Strip Steak. I am going four and half minutes and then flip it. I am wanting a medium steak when it is done. It is also the first Corn on the Cob from the Concho Valley Farmer’s Market this summer so it is an awesome weekend. The steaks turned out simply amazing. It was so juicy and definitely no need for any A-1 here. Think this was my favorite two bites of the meal. Perfection. Thank Lord for all the blessings you have bestowed on my family.
